Enterprise-grade documentation, delivered continuously
Your product moves fast. Your documentation should too. We work inside your release cycle so users, developers and auditors always find what is true today.
Every release, the docs fall a little further behind
Documentation gets written once, then drifts with every change. Nobody notices until it costs something, usually for one of three people.
-
New users
Follow the docs to a feature that has moved, then open a ticket or give up.
Costs you support tickets and churn -
Developers
Integrate against yesterday's API and lose days working out what changed.
Costs you slipped launches and slower deals -
Compliance leads
Need evidence for a process that only lives in someone's head.
Costs you stalled audits and due diligence
Every document your product needs, kept current
We design the structure first, write for the people who will use it, and keep it accurate as your product changes.
User documentation
Getting started guides, feature docs and help centres that let users find answers before they contact support.
Read moreAPI and technical
Reference, integration guides and code samples that get developers building on day one.
Read moreCompliance and regulatory
Policies, procedures and audit-ready libraries written to the standard your regulators expect.
Read moreRelease notes and changelogs
Clear, consistent release communication, every time you ship.
Read moreInternal knowledge bases
Knowledge that lives in a system, not in the heads of the people who might leave.
Read moreProcess and operations
SOPs, runbooks and process maps that keep operations consistent as you grow.
Read moreSix stages. One continuous cycle.
Most documentation fails because it skips the thinking. Half our work happens before anyone writes a word, and none of it stops at launch.

The client
My Car Importer helps dealers buy cars at US auctions and ship them to Nigeria. One platform with two sides: a portal for customers, and a back office for the staff who run it.
The challenge
The help centre held outdated placeholders, nobody had written down how the system worked, and new users and staff had no guided way in.
What we did
- 01DiscoveryWalked every flow on the platform end to end, completing each one for real before writing a word, then mapped the codebase behind it.
- 03StructuringOrganised two help centres around the tasks people actually do, with one writing standard: simplified technical English, one action per step.
- 05ValidationLogged twelve bugs and usability issues for the product team along the way.
- 06DeliveryPublished everything to production.
Where it stands today. The help centre is live on My Car Importer's own site, and every screen can be recaptured automatically when the product changes.

Built on enterprise financial services experience
Doc Foundry was founded by Abdulkerimu Oare, who documented enterprise systems in financial services at Afreximbank and Access Bank, with a specialism in middleware and integration. In banking, an unclear process becomes an audit finding and a missing integration guide stalls a launch. That is the standard every engagement is held to.

Clear starting points
Start with a one-off project or keep your documentation current on a monthly retainer.
Where your docs stand, what is missing and what to fix first.
Documentation kept current with every release. Growth and enterprise plans available.
A complete library, designed and written from the ground up.
Other projects include information architecture (from $5,000), documentation debt remediation (from $8,000), compliance packs (from $10,000) and platform migrations (from $12,000).
Who do you work with?
SaaS and technology companies, fintech and financial services, and other teams in regulated industries. If your product changes often and your documentation has to keep up, we can help.
How is this different from hiring a technical writer?
A writer gives you capacity. We bring a method: information architecture, validation with your subject experts and a maintenance cycle tied to your releases, so the documentation stays right after launch.
Do you work with existing documentation?
Yes. We can rebuild what you have, bring it up to standard and maintain it, or start from nothing.
What happens on the discovery call?
Thirty minutes on your product, your readers and your current documentation. You leave with a short list of the gaps that matter most, whether or not you work with us.
Find your documentation gaps in 30 minutes
No obligation. You leave with a gap list either way.
